WOMEN'S WINTER LEAGUE
After an absence of a few years, this year the Women’s Winter League has been resurrected under the guidance of Shirley Clark and Geraldine Wakefield. The players were split into 4 squads and competed over 4 weeks, split between the Tawa and Titahi Bay greens. The squads were split into 2 pairs and 2 triples and played 2 games each day. Generally conditions were good throughout the competition up until the last day when weather disrupted the programme.
The competition was a very close race for 1st and 2nd with the Olympians squad prevailing over the Kool Katz by 2 points.

2nd Kool Katz 32 points
3rd Bee Knees 18 points
4th Dynamos 12 points
